12mm GL12528 Light Sensitive Photoresistor LDR (Pack of 2)
The 12mm GL12528 Light Sensitive Photoresistor (LDR) is a high-sensitivity cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoconductive sensor designed to detect changes in ambient light intensity. Featuring a large 12mm sensing surface for enhanced optical coverage, its electrical resistance decreases significantly as light exposure increases—offering a light resistance of 10kΩ–20kΩ at 10 Lux and a dark resistance of up to 20MΩ. Operating up to 250V DC with a peak spectral response at 560nm (matching human eye sensitivity), this 2-pin through-hole component is ideal for automatic night lights, street light controllers, solar tracking systems, burglar alarms, and Arduino or Raspberry Pi light-sensing projects.
