The Electroboat CJMCU-GUVA-S12SD Sunlight UV Ray Intensity Sensor Module is a true UV light detection breakout designed to measure solar ultraviolet index levels and UV exposure. Unlike generic light sensors that approximate UV using visible light algorithms, this module uses an authentic Schottky-type semiconductor photodiode that responds selectively to ultraviolet wavelengths between 240nm and 370nm.

The module incorporates an onboard signal conditioning amplifier to boost the tiny photocurrent generated by the photodiode into a clean 0V to 1V+ linear analog output signal. Because the output voltage scales linearly with solar UV light intensity, microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi can calculate the real-time UV Index directly by reading the analog voltage line.

How to Use

Power Supply: Connect the VCC pin to a 3.3V or 5V power source and GND to common circuit ground.
Signal Connection: Connect the SIG (or OUT) pin to an analog input pin on your microcontroller (e.g., A0 on Arduino).
