MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module for Propane, Butane, and LPG Gas Detection
MQ6 Gas sensor is a Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) type Gas Sensor mainly used to detect the LPG and Butane gas concentration in the air either at home or in industry. This sensor contains a sensing element, mainly aluminum-oxide based ceramic, coated with Tin dioxide, enclosed in a stainless-steel mesh. The MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module is designed for reliable detection of LPG, propane, butane, methane, and other flammable gases. With both analog and digital outputs, it integrates easily with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers for gas leak detection and smart home safety systems.
